Grand Master Cho - 8th Dan Black Belt

Grand Master Cho began his study of the martial arts very early in life; he received his 1st Dan Black Belt in 1957 at the age of seven. At the age of 19 he joined the R.O.K. Marine Corps and trained specialized martial arts to the R.O.K. Marine Corps stationed in Pohang, Korea. He also trained to the Blue Dragon Division during the Vietnam War. While in Vietnam, Master Cho served as the chief bodyguard for General Park.

Grand Master Cho earned recognition for his expertise by being the Tae Kwon Do champion of Korea, R.O.K.M.C. from 1970 thru 1973. He earned his Master Instructor certification in 1973 and his International Master Instructor certification in 1978. Both were from the World Tae Kwon Do Federation. In addition, Master Cho is an International Referee. He was awarded the best Master Instructor Award in 1970, 1973, and 1975.
